New Wave Vet offers Traditional Chinese Medicine to treat, but also prevent illnesses and injuries in your beloved companion. We offer treatments to dogs, cats and rabbits! It is a whole-body approach for long-term health management and longevity. Tradition Chinese Medicine (TCM) uses a holistic lens to assess the Body as One and most importantly, views all systems as connected. The main goal of treatment is to address the root cause of any issue and not merely treating symptoms. Our main modality is acupuncture although we also recommend Chinese herbal medicine, nutraceuticals (supplements), food therapy & when applicable laser therapy. Most of often, using those gentle tools together will yield the most sustainable and efficient results. 

We do not offer bloodwork, vaccines, x-rays or other forms of western diagnostics and treatments. This means we partner with your family/referring veterinarian (and veterinary specialist) to integrate their conventional approach with our Traditional Chinese Medicine approach. In our opinion, both types of medicines are valid and encouraged to offer the best possible care to your animal companion.
